An Islamic green glazed earthenware ewer, possibly Ommayad, the neck with generous mouth above the hexagonal body with impressed scale, cell and geometric decoration, the plain handle with knop terminal, 21cm high.
This has been in many pieces and put together again. The repair does not conceal any faults. There are losses to the glaze throughout, large cracks to the body, the mouth and handle have also been broken and put together again.
