A FIRST WORLD WAR CASUALTY TRIO TO THE ROYAL NAVY COLLINGWOOD BATTALION. A Trio comprising 1914 Star with clasp named to L1/3620 H.J. Frost Ord Sea R.N.V.R. Collingwood Battalion R.N.D. War Medal and Victory Medal with Frost as Leading Seaman. Henry James Frost was born on the 21st June 1892 at Bow. He joined the Royal Navy as a Boy Servant aged 16. Servant to the Captain of H.M.S. Blanche Commodore Wilfred Henderon who became Commodore in command of the Naval Brigade. Travelling to Antwerp with the RND he was interned in Holland on the 8th October 1914 from where he escaped and returned to the U.K.Mounted for display with single dog tag and copied research.
