A set of four late 19th century Mintons tiles, after William Wise, 1879, sepia printed, depicting cattle, horses and two with sheep within rural landscapes, each tile measures 15cm square, mounted within a later brass plant pot holder frame.

More Information

All four tiles show surface crazing and surface scratching to the front and back, with some staining to the craze and scratch lines, particularly on the tile backs. The tile with five sheep shows a break to the top right corner (broken piece present). The frame shows surface wear and fine surface scratching thoughout with dents to the ball feet and ball finials.
