Irish National Volunteers badge. A brass and enamel buttonhole badge, a harp flanked by sprays of shamrock against a green field. 1" (2.5cm) high. Photographic evidence shows that these were used as cap badges.

The National Volunteers was the name taken by the majority of the Irish Volunteers that sided with Irish Parliamentary Party leader John Redmond after the movement split over the question of the Volunteers' role in The Great War.
