A late 19th century Maw & Co. Art Pottery charger: centrally decorated with an open-winged dove over a plinth inscribed 'PAX', impressed 'Maw & Co.' and 'Broseley' marks to the underside. (33.5 cm in diameter).
* Condition: Light glaze crazing and a few light scratches to the glaze to the upper surface. The upper right of the front has a curved, darkened area to the ground in the foliate border, which is later discolouration. Two chips to the footrim. There is a small chip to the underside of the rim, which has an associated crack along the rim to either side, which joins two smaller glaze chips to either side. There is also a flake to the glaze lower in the same area on the underside.
