LNER Tyer's Trolley Release (control) instrument machine dyno tape name "ESSENDINE" - station in Rutland on the East Coast Main Line Junction for branches to Stamford & Bourne, closing in 1959. This instrument would have been located within the signal box as one of two instruments controlling the Ganger's trolley occupation of the line, wooden case has some damage to base rear & C/I face has old crack bottom L/H corner, not a common instrument.
