A naval dirk, c 1800, curved, fullered blade 13” DE towards point, brass flattened S shaped crossguard with prominent sideloop incorporating sunburst and 2 crescents, chain link guard, grapevine engraved pommel and backstrap, cross hatch panelled ivory grip (several cracks) in its black PL (crazed) scabbard with brass locket and middle band with rings, and chape.
