QSA & WW1 family range with:
1. 1899 QSA 2 clasps Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith to 5704 Pte R. Hewett Devon Regt. He died of disease at Pietermaritzburg on 25th March 1900. With copied roll, clasps confirmed. Spelt Hewitt on roll.
2. WW1 BWM, Victory Medal and KGV Territorial Force Efficiency Medal to 703 Spr F. Hewitt R.E. (514236 on TFEM). With copied MIC and 3 pages of post-WW1 service papers, Frank Hewitt landed in Egypt 9/11/15 (missing a Star), discharged 17/4/19, both numbers on medals confirmed. He re-enlisted 15/8/21 in Devon (Fortress) Coy R.E. service number 2205960 and died on annual camp at Falmouth on 10th July 1922 from Syncope brought on by a gastric ulcer.
3. WW1 BWM to 2345 Pte A. Ward R.A.M.C. With copied MIC, issued a pair.
