Collection of Silver and White Metal Thimbles including:
1. Henry Griffiths & Sons Sterling Silver Thimble. Rim marked with 'Sterling Silver H.G&S Made in England THE SPA'.
2. Henry Griffith & Sons 1930. Marked ' TORQUAY' and 'The Spa'. Damaged and possibly repaired.
3. White metal - no markings. Flower border.
4. White metal - no markings. Greek key pattern and blank shield. Believed to be French
5. Henry Griffiths & Sons Sterling Silver Thimble. Birmingham 1926. Punched dome with floral band.
6. Marked Wilmot Manufacturing Co Birmingham 1923. Green agate top and punched beneath.
7. Purple stone top. Band of vine leaves and grapes. Very small indecipherable mark on rim - not a hallmark.
8. Peep thimble sold by The Thimble Society of London, showing through dome a picture of "Duchess of Windsor's jewels. 1987". Engraved on band "Duchess of Windsor". Birmingham 1988.
9. Blue enamel on silver. Picture of a lady in flowered hat on one side with gold-coloured rose on reverse. Very small hallmark on inside of dome - Birmingham 1981.
10. Black enamel on silver. Flower pattern with 6-sided star on top. Marked on rim sterling, Germany, 925 and 8-sided rose or star.
