William Moorcroft - Moorcroft Pottery - A large ginger jar vase, circa 1928, of shouldered form, with drawn collar, tube line decorated in a variant of the Florian Poppy pattern with ragged flower heads in foliate borders with chains of red daisies over graded teal to blue washed ground, possibly made for the 1928 Wembley Exhibition, painted signature and date to base, height 40cm.
