A very large Chinese Famille rose porcelain tripod censor and cover. Of ding form, the pierced domed cover mounted with Buddhistic lion finial, the body polychrome painted incorporating panels depicting green Imperial dragons to both sides and supported on lions head and paw feet. Six character mark to one side reads ’Family Collection of the Fifty Thousand Pine Trees Garden’. 33.5 in (85 cm) height. Condition report: Some light wear with age. Possible restoration to one handle and at the joint points of the legs (UV checked).
