Star Lot: A wonderful original Khatuna Petsyukha (Irish, contemporary) oil on canvas painting titled "Old Gate" dating to 2021. Features a ruined gateway overgrown with lush greenery, lit by dappled sunlight falling through the leaves. Rendered in a rich palette of yellows, greens and burnt oranges. Signed and dated bottom right. Housed in a high quality white wooden frame. Petsyukha sells well in the primary market with works fetching in to the early thousands.

Khatuna Petsyukha is a local artist based in Dublin, working primarily in oil and mixed media. Khatuna had moved to Ireland in 2016 and graduated from NCAD in 2021, though she had earlier collected degrees and certificates in art, music, medicine and psychology. Khatuna has been working as a professional artist since 2014. She is a professional member of Visual Arts Ireland, Greystones Art Group, Dublin Art Society and Signal Arts Center. Her works can be found in private collections across Europe.
