A 19th Century Copeland 8 inch plastic clay tile from the Shakespeare series, transfer printed in tonal underglaze blue with two figures in Medieval dress titled 'Speed Lance' with gilded ground, impressed marks, together with a further Copeland tile hand enamelled with a musician in medieval dress playing a lute and a further Minton Hollins & Co dust pressed example, later hand painted with a portrait of a lady.
