13th (1st Somersetshire) Victorian Officer pre 1855 shoulder belt plate. Good scarce gilded rectangular plate with silver mounts including crown on ornate honour scroll, laurel sprays with Sphinx on EGYPT tablet on AVA. Centrally within regimental title, a strung bugle with XIII between the cords, surmounted by a Mural crown all on raised ground. On the sprays MARTINIQUE and AFFGHANISTAN.
