AN INDIAN SOSUN PATTAH SWORD WITH DECORATED HILT. With a slightly curved 71cm pointed bladed with triple fuller and sharpened edge, with three incised inscriptions in Islamic script, the third possibly a Punjabi font. The handle with broad circular pommel and extended langets with silver and gilt Koftgari type scrolling foliate decoration, late 18th/early 19th century. 83cm overall. *CR: blade polished, slight nicks to edge, light wear and signs of age to hilt. *BP 22.5% (18.75% plus VAT) plus a lot fee of £8 inc.
