In half dark brown calf, gilt decorated raised bands, crushed crimson morocco label, gilt titles and decorated borders, matched marbled boards, a clean copy attractively bound, of the rare first edition.
A detailed early history of England, known particularly for its lavish engravings - especially the later ones covering the American War of Independence.
