A WW1 brass cased Waltham ship's bridge clock, in locking brass case, 7 jewel, 8 day mechanism, enamel dial with subsidiary second hand, some cracking to enamel finish but intact. The dial marked 'Waltham Watch Co USA'. Serail number dates the mechanism to 1916. Brass case is very heavy, locks closed, key present. Clock face is angled upwards. Identical to model in the collection of the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich.
