19th century Chinese or Japanese vase (a/f with rudimentary repair, requires full restoration), ovoid with flared neck and rim, lug handles as stylized scrolls, the body with painted and enamelled polychrome decoration depicting warrior and two women amongst rocks, trees and flowers. Height approximately 40cm. Interior of the foot rim painted with two characters, one rubbed away. The neck rim of the vase is mainly a basic replacement, with rudimentary decoration, and poorly repaired cracks.
