54 bore, rifled, 5 1/2 inch, blued, octagonal, solid frame barrel. Front blade sight. Side swivel loading lever. Top frame marked "Robert Adams 76 King William Street London". Five shot, blue percussion cylinder with "No 41011". Blued frame engraved "Adams Patent No 41011". Sliding cylinder safety. The reverse marked "WD" with broad arrow. Blued, double action hammer. Blued trigger guard and part grip frame with lower grip disk. Finely checkered, one piece pistol grip. Contained in its polished oak fitted case. Containing brass, double bullet mould. Top steel sprue cutter. The mould with "Adams Patent 1852" ... Copper and brass powder flask by "James Dixon & Son" ... Nipple key with ebony grip ... Screwdriver with ebony grip ... Turned wood percussion cap box. Green baize lining with "Kavanagh Dublin" trade label to the lid interior.
