Russian Order of the Red Star awarded to Tank Commander Lieut. Colonel Nikolai Aleksandrovich Musatov, born 1910 Astrakhan, enlisted 1928, awarded Red Star for Operations in the Crimea, personally taking part in the fighting, assisting the Brigade & Partisans to take Dzhankoi, led an Infantry unit to surround the City. He was one of the first to enter Simferopal and helped clear it. Also involved in the taking of Alushta. The citation much redacted as he was serving in a secret unit. Head of MGB (Ministry of State Security) City of Yalta, (famous for conference) when awarded this, his 3rd Red star.
