Imperial German 109th Infantry Regiment 1912-14 Beer Stein. A very good and colourful decorative white pottery example. The transfer to the front shows The Kaiser and Crowned Prince, different scenes during military manoeuvres. Details of the Regiment is also given. The pewter hinged lid depicts a soldier with an Imperial Eagle and the handle a Baden State eagle. The base of the interior shows a cameo of a soldiers farewell from his sweetheart. Colours remain bright and fresh. GC. Height 12 1/2 inches.
