A George V silver gilt sugar box, maker Goldsmith and Silversmiths Co Ltd., London, 1912: in the Charles II style, of oval outline, the low domed hinged lid surmounted by a loop handle in the form of a serpent with lobed and acanthus decorated matted ground, hinged hasp, the base with lobed sides within foliate cartouches and raised on four swept feet, 20cm wide, 680gms, 21.86ozs.
