A ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FOUR PIECE MINTON A4807 'MINTON ROSE' DINNER SERVICE, mainly late nineteenth century/early twentieth century pieces, comprising a meat plate, two large platters, two sauce boats and one stand, three vegetable dishes, a fruit/serving bowl, a teapot, two milk/water jugs (the larger having hairlines), a sucrier, an open sugar bowl, a similar small shallow bowl, two cream jugs (one modern, the other cracked), a footed serving plate, a sandwich plate, two cake plates, a preserve pot, a handled serving dish with twin compartments, a bowl with integral saucer, eleven dinner plates, twelve entrée plates, four crescent shaped plates, seven side plates, thirteen dessert bowls (one with hairline), six soup bowls and saucers, seven fruit saucers, five large egg cups, four small egg cups (one with hairline), two mugs, five teacups and ten saucers, three small coffee cups and saucers, nine larger coffee cups (two having hairlines) and saucers, two non-matching saucers and a spare lid, printed purple backstamps vary, some pieces having American retailers' marks - WH Plummer & Co, New York City and Nathan Dohrmann Co, San Francisco, California (134) (Condition Report: most pieces appear in good condition with signs of light use, specific obvious damage as stated, some other pieces sound dull when tapped, a little light crazing and staining, some pattern wear)
