A circa 1950 British Army lieutenant’s uniform contained in a japanned steel trunk bearing the name Lt. W.G. Potter RASC: three 1950 size 11 battledress blouses, two with felt lieutenant’s stars and RASC insignia; a 1940 size 15 battledress blouse; battledress trousers; service dress tunic and greatcoat with stars, brass buttons (epaulette buttons missing from both and breast pocket buttons missing from the tunic) Sam Browne, sash and cap (cap fastening buttons missing); green canvas belt and gaiters; the Service and Pay Book of William Godfrey Potter, a spare set of stars and two spare RASC cap badges; together with an officer’s bedroll with internal fitted blanket (2)
