Pistol, an interesting and impressive percussion, holster, single shot pistol, 12 bore, round barrel 10" with English proof & view marks with "16" stamped between. Back action lock with 'VR' Crown and "Tower" over stamped. Faintly visible is "Tower" and an earlier Crown which indicates this may be an earlier conversion from flintlock. Muzzle with long front band and all steel ramrod. Lovely walnut stock, bag shaped design. Brass skull crusher buttcap and brass trigger guard, with "88". Brass "S" plate to reverse of stock. A lovely and highly collectable old pistol. VGC. No licence required
