Containing hand-drawn maps of South Africa, a street plan of Pretoria including military and civic landmarks, a battle diagram from the Battle of Ladysmith, humorous ink, pencil and paint illustrations, poetry, a military pet/mascot signature, photograph, dedications and autographs of significant military and civilian figures including General Sir Richard Cyril Byrne Haking, GBE, KCB, KCMG (24 January 1862 – 9 June 1945) and Major William George Bertram Boyce, who served as DAAG, 2nd Division, South African Field Force and was present at the Relief of Ladysmith
