A worksplate, ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH, 1249, 1935, from a LMS Class 5 4-6-0 No 5208 which became BR 45208. A long time Low Moor engine, it spent all its BR days there apart from very brief spells at Wakefield and Mirfield. Withdrawn from Low Moor in October 1967, it was sold for scrap to Wards at Killamarsh. Cast brass, 8¼"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
