An early 19th century oak and metal bound silver canteen box, with brass plate engraved 'Mrs. P.F. Tylter', the hinged lid opens to reveal two fitted baze lined trays with paper labels, 31.8cm high, 41cm wide, 28.6cm deep. Patrick Fraser Tytler FRSE FSA (30 August 1791 - 24 December 1849) was a Scottish advocate and historian.
