A sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the central oval mixed cut cornflower blue sapphire measuring 8mm x 6.4mm, with a surround of sixteen round brilliant cut diamonds, all claw set in white gold, continuing to a plain polished 18ct yellow gold shank, two sizing beads to interior, marks for 'AJW' London 1996, ring size R 1/2, weight 4.1gms
Moderate to heavy nibbling to the facet edges and girdle. Light scratching and wear to the facets. Claws in good order, stone secure. Diamonds all present and in tact, no major cracks, chips or losses. Settings in good order, no splitting or repair. Shank in good order, no splitting, major thinning, misshaping or repair.
