A pair of Japanese Satsuma pottery baluster vases, H31cm
The vases are in overall good condition. Vase 1- there is a small chip approx 1cm around the rim of the vase, and subsequently as a result there is a hairline crack approx 3cm running down the lip of the vase, there is some crazing to the vase, some general surface scratching and marking consistent with age and use, and there is a very small hairline crack again on the lip of the vase opposite the larger crack. Vase 2 - again there is some crazing to the vase, both handles appear to be cracking, although unclear whether this has been repaired
