An original hand drawn plan of Aachen in Germany found by Hauptmann Reinhold Eggers (Colditz Security Officer) during a purge on the French quarters in Colditz Oflag IVc on 23rd June 1943 in WW2. This comes with a drawing depicting all of the information of the section of map.
Inspections of the different allied forces quarters was a regular task carried out by the Germans in an attempt to find contraband items.
