Post war US M5-1 Knife Bayonet with 170mm long blade. Crossguard is stamped "US M5-1" and maker marked "J&D Tool Co.". Black plastic grips. Working release catch. Traces of original Parkerised finish remain. Overall length 289mm. Complete with US M8A1 scabbard with leg tie tapes.
Good issued condition. Blad has been cleaned to bright steel only traces of the dull Parkerised finish remain.
