Dean & Adams 1851 Patent Perscussion Cap Revolver. Serial number to frame "7095". Five shot cylinder. .456 bore. Action a/f. Barrel length 160mm. Overall lenth 290mm. Backstrap maker marked "Deane Adams & Deane, 30 King William Street, London Bridge". Frame marked "Adams Patent No.." Cyclinder marked "No.10.139 R ". Along with a Copper and Brass powder flask, missing the nozzle. No makers marks. The revolver has heavy rust pitting overall, but does still exhibit some original finish. Section 58, no licence required. (2)
Cyclinder will turn with each pull of the trigger, but the hammer will not fall. Cyclinder release plunger will not move. The gun was found many years ago down a well.
