Forty-nine draughtsman's boxwood drawing curves, in a mahogany box. All curves (the longest about 38cm) stamped A G Thornton Manchester except for one stamped Stanley, variously numbered from 2 to 120. All appear in good condition, a few have pencil and ink marks. With a handwritten note 'Belonged to Capt. J. G. H. Mc Haughlin 1st Northumberland Western Division Royal Garrison Artillery resigned commission 16th Jan 1900 (London Gazette)'
