Wales v England 1953 football shirt believed to have been worn in the game by Wallace Barnes (Number 2 and Captain). Badge detailing the match to the front and labels for Jack Sharp Ltd on inside collar.

Wallace was born in 1920 (Brecon) and played for Arsenal and gained international status in 1947 where he won 22 caps for Wales between 1954-1956. Later in life he became a broadcaster for the BBC and presented the first edition of Match of the Day. He went on to co-present and provide commentary for the 1966 World Cup Final England v Germany.
