Winston S Churchill (1874-1965), a hand signed typed letter to Sir William Graham Greene KCB JP (English, 1857-1950), the letter dated 20th November 1933 and sent from Chartwell, the letter reads as follows:
"My dear Graham Greene, I am afraid I cannot remember what happened in this case, but it is quite likely that I was associated with Leverton Harris in making an application to the Foreign Office.
With kindest regards
Yours sincerely
Winston Churchill"
Greene was a civil servant who served as Permanent Secretary to the Admiralty from 1911 to 1917
