A late 18c cistern barometer by J. Donegon & Co Bristol in a plain mahogany case with a chequer edge inlay and hemispherical cistern cover. The silvered register plates have a vernier and also hold an alcohol Fahrenheit thermometer and are behind a glazed door. The barometer has a swan neck pediment with a central brass finial and is 99cm tall.
The tube appears to be working and air free. The thermometer is also working. Case is in very good condition.
