A early-mid 19th century ash and elm Windsor armchair Of hoop-back form, the shaped splat with pierced wheel, the saddle seat raised on ring-turned supports united by a crinoline stretcher. Seat height approx 43cm. Provenance:Acquired by the vendor in 1973 from Crispin Antiques, St.Albans. Condition:52cm wide x 56cm deep x 105cm high. Structurally sturdy. No evidence of worm. Patch repair to the centre of the seat. Minor signs of age.
