WW1 British Trench Art engraved German 77mm shell case, maker marked and dated "Patronenfabrik Karlsruhe 1916". The shell case is covered in decoration all over along with the legend "Souvenir of the British Soldier's Occupation of Palestine December 9th 1917". Includes scenes such as the Dome on the Mount Mosque, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Jerusalem Cross, Star, leaves etc. 275mm in height.
Very good original uncleaned condition.
