Henri Desire Gauquie (1858-1927). Satyr and a Bacchante, bronze, signed to base, height 97cm. The casting would appear to be of some age, and possibly produced within the artist's lifetime. Additional images showing the rich patina, and an accumulation of dirt and grime are now online. There are no obvious faults or damages, but the bronze will require a careful clean.
