German Third Reich Luftwaffe Forestry sidearm. Scarce large knife with simulated staghorn grips secured by three rivets; the 20.5 cm blade, and plain oval crossguard. The forte with stamped Waffen-Loesche, Berlin; partial letter H on back of blade. Housed in unofficial well used leather scabbard. Tip of blade AF, heavy service wear. Introduced in 1938.
