19th century Swiss musical box by 'Nicole Freres', playing eight aires on a 30cm drum with steel comb (damaged), and six bells. The case overall 54cm wide approx. Together with another small plain mahogany cased musical box playing on 20cm steel comb, again by 'Nicole Freres' of Geneva. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT)
the large musical box is heavily worn externally, although shows no immediate evidence of worm, its steel comb is badly damaged. Small musical box serial no. 19977.
