Watecolour, “Abbey of Cloonshanville (Dominican), Frenchpark, Co. Roscommon”,  11 x 17cms (4 ½” x 7”), note on reverse, mounted, in hogarth type frame.

Reference:  The Abbey was erected by MacDermott Roe in 1385, this watercolour is illustrated in Grose’s Antiquities of Ireland, Plates 89 & 90.
