A Chinese two colour marble cameo ‘tiger’ snuff bottle, 19th century, of flattened oblong form, the mottled red layer in the stone carved in relief with a seated tiger, on a black background, lion mask ring handles, 5.4cm high

Provenance - the former owner collected jades and snuff bottles in the 1960s and early 1970s while living and working in Hong Kong.

Natural inclusions and vein into the stone, in good condition.
