Jonathan Couch - 4 prints of Rays 1877.

These original antique woodblock hand-coloured prints are from History of the Fishes of the British Islands by Jonathan Couch. Published in 1877. The woodblocks were prepared by AF Lydon and Benjamin Fawcett printed the plates. Local artists from Polperro in Cornwall finished the colouring by hand.

Size: 6.5in x 10in (16.5cm x 25.4cm) .

The prints are in excellent condition - please inspect the images carefully for occasional spotting
