About 70 signature clippings, mostly eminent and remarkable Victorians, to include Charles Dickens (2), Robert Peel, William Gladstone, Thomas Masterman Hardy, Earl of Clarendon (2), Prince Alfred (Duke of Saxe-Coburg), Joseph Paxton, John Everett Millais, Robert Browning (signed on his friend Millais’ headed notepaper), Elizabeth Garrett Anderson, Catherine Marsh, Charlotte Mary Yonge (2), Francis Ridley Havergal, William Jackson Hooker, Hyde Parker, Henry Havelock, Thomas Hughes, Samuel Wilberforce, Henry Chaplin, Charles Haddon Spurgeon, Samuel Smiles (2), Joseph Hume, John Richardson (the surgeon, naturalist and explorer) and John Scott Russell.
