Royal Navy & Other Ship Launches 1950's Photographs & Correspondence. A large album containing numerous black and white photographs depicting the launching of numerous ships - mostly naval, some merchant marine. Most appear to be launches at Newcastle/Grimsby area. Noted photograph of Lord Mountbatten at one of the launches. Also included is a quantity of correspondence relating to the launches, dinner menus etc. An interesting lot worth perusing.
