a small 19th century silver-mounted circular tortoiseshell inkwell with repoussé decorated lid depicting a reclining faun eating grapes above three conforming pierced silver bands decorated with stylised flowerheads and each leading to a small gadrooned bun-style foot. (One tortoiseshell panel with 3 cm crack.)
