Two sets of Zimbabwean Hakata throwing bones. Early-mid 20th century, one set with carved symbols, the other apparently seed pods collected from elephant droppings, each with a handwritten provenance note dated 1978. From a small collection formed by the vendors while living in Rhodesia in the 1970s, each with a handwritten note of provenance, from the Salisbury (Harare) based dealer/collector P.K.Chiunye.
