A French cast and pierced brass mantel clock, late 19th century, the Renaissance style case with lantern top and pierced body with pierced lion mask and foliate decoration, raised on five ornate feet, the Roman cream porcelain dial fronting a twin train bell strike movement signed with A.D. Mougin exhibition mark, no. 466, 14 ¾in. (37.5cm.) high. * Winds and runs. Strikes correctly. Several hairline cracks to dial. The top of both of the scroll mounts to the sides of the case are missing (there is a vacant hole to the top of both sides of the clock where the top of these mounts should be joined).
